What About the Burbank-Glendale Airport?
The proposed transportation plans for the San Fernando Valley seem to ignore the fact that in the San Fernando
Valley is a major airport. Many people who are not taking international flights can and do take advantage to the
valley’s own airport when travelling by air. Why is the MTA not including this important transportation hub
in the plans for the San Fernando Valley? Having the valley’s rail lines directly serve this airport would
help to increase ridership and make the valley rail project a success.
By including the Valley’s own airport in the transportation plans many persons could use the East-West
Rail line instead of private auto or Taxis to get to and from this airport.
